Socialising and a well-deserved rest at Candid Arts, with entertainment in two sessions from 8pm and life drawing for early arrivals
The afterparty is open from 6pm on ride day – Saturday 14th June 2025. As well as food, drink, socialising and a well-deserved rest, there will also be entertainment in two sessions with an interval. Like last year, early arrivals can also enjoy a life drawing taster session upstairs – either drawing or as a model – go on, give it a try! The main entertainment starts at 8pm to give riders time to go home, drop off their bikes and travel to Angel.
In keeping with WNBR norms it will be clothing-optional – you can be bare as you dare. There will be some naked people and some dressed people – please respect others’ personal choices and preferences. No sexual behaviour or arousal is permitted – security will remove anyone behaving inappropriately!
Participants in the ride can get discounted tickets. Fastest 50 get even bigger ones!
Established in 1989, the Candid Arts Centre accommodates 25 artist studios, 3 galleries, drawing & sculpture studios and a cafe. It is situated behind the Angel tube station in Islington. We will be using the courtyard, ground floor and first floor. Only the ground floor and courtyard are accessible without using the stairs.

Entertainment
The show
The entertainment will be on the ground level in two parts with an interval between. Our three wonderful acts, Queera Lynn, Enrico Touché and Miss Giddy Heights, will each perform twice.
If you are particularly keen to get a good view, make sure you are at the performance area early as we expect quite a big crowd!
Life Drawing
While people are arriving for the big show, we will have some fun with a life drawing session, hosted by tutor Willoh, There will be some experienced models to draw and some materials to use but please bring your own sketchbook if you prefer.
You can just watch although we’d love you to try out life drawing, whatever you skill and experience. If you can, we are also encouraging people to try out life modelling. All you have to do is stay still for say 5 minutes and let people draw you – go on, be brave, it’s easy!
